“This project involved the addition of a roof extension to a period property in South Kensington. The works included building up the party walls by approximately 3 metres and installing 59 steel beams in a complex trussed structure spanning 13 metres from the front to the rear elevation. This allowed the addition of a double mansard with a sunken roof terrace and glass walls, along with the complete refurbishment of the existing 4th floor to a very high standard. The value added to the property was in the region of £1m with a contract value of approx £300k.”
