The project involved building 2 new penthouse apartments on top of an occupied three storey building containing 19 flats. The construction involved the installation of 57 padstones / plinths to support nearly a 100 steel beams. Upon this substructure two spacious timber frame apartments with barrel vaulted roofs we’re erected.”
